NJ Transit is launching a safety campaign to raise awareness about human trafficking.
Officials say buses will run throughout the month with images designed to get people's attention. Posters and digital messages will also be part of the effort.
"You're going to see blanket information, posters, digital campaigns so people are constantly aware of this danger," NJ Transit President and CEO Kris Kolluri said.
The agency received a $50,000 award for its role in combating human trafficking.
Officials urge anyone who sees something unusual to contact NJ Transit police.
