A New Jersey Transit bus veered off a roadway in Wayne Sunday.
The incident occurred at the corner of Alps Road and Hamburg Turnpike. The bus, which was bound for New York City, apparently left the roadway and nearly struck a telephone pole, but avoided oncoming traffic.
The bus is said to have ended up on the corner, and it clipped a sign outside Moore's Funeral Home.
News 12 has been told that 13 passengers were on the bus, but no one was injured.
The passengers were transferred to another bus to continue their trip.
