New Jersey is receiving federal dollars to help the homeless in the state.
More than 200 communities and organizations are going to split $52 million.
The money comes from the House of Urban Development’s Continuum of Care Program.
It will support permanent and transitional housing programs.
The funding could help thousands of people statewide.
