A New Jersey man kidnapped in Pakistan is back home and speaking to the public for the first time.
John Solecki was in Pakistan working for the United Nation's High Commission on Refugees at the time of his capture. Solecki was ambushed in early February and taken by the previously unknown group, the Baloch Liberation United Front. His driver was killed.
He ultimately spent two months held hostage in Pakistan. His captors at one point threatened to behead him.
Solecki was found Saturday near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border with his hands and feet bound. He was taken back to the U.S. and is now at his parents' house in South Orange.
"My family and I would like to thank everyone who is responsible for my release," he says. "I'm a little tired right now."
