Crews spent at least four hours battling heavy fire conditions after an explosion Wednesday in Andover Township.

The Newton Volunteer Fire Department says it happened around 7:20 p.m. at a building on Clove Hollow Court.

The explosion caused an intense structure fire, which required continuous water from both aerial and exterior ground operations.
