Several New Jersey cities are preparing for the impending snow by enacting parking restrictions.
Cars parked on snow emergency routes were required to be moved by 6 p.m. Sunday in Hoboken. The city offered a reduced daily rate of $5 at some municipal parking lots as an alternative.
Restrictions were also set in place in Rutherford, where a St. Patrick’s Day parade was also happening.
Parking is banned until 6 a.m. Monday on snow-covered roads in Princeton.
In Montclair, a reminder was sent to home and business owners, to inform them that it is illegal and dangerous to push snow into the streets.
