NJ Audubon, PSE&G team up for live bald eagle cam

A pair of bald eagles have returned to their nesting grounds in New Jersey, and this year, the public can watch them in real time.
New Jersey Audubon and Public Service Electric and Gas Company have teamed up to offer a live stream of the eagles’ nest on a PSE&G transmission tower in Salem.
According to New Jersey Audubon, the pair of eagles nesting in Salem are 18 years old and are preparing their nest for a new generation of eaglets.
PSE&G said eagles are previously or currently using nine of its transmission towers in New Jersey. The utility company said it takes steps to protect the birds, as well as its electrical equipment.
New Jersey Audubon is a not-for-profit organization that fosters environmental awareness and a conservation ethic among New Jersey’s citizens.

Note that eagle cam runs off of solar panels, and on cloudy days, it may not be active.
