The Newark Police Department released surveillance video of two people wanted in connection with spraying hateful graffiti on a person’s car.
The incident happened on May 10 along Livingston Street near 15th Avenue.
The victim says that “KKK” was spray-painted on her car.
Police say that the two suspects appear to be black males. The suspects’ faces are obscured by hoods in the surveillance videos.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says that the incident does “not meet the criteria to warrant a bias incident investigation.”
