Newark holds ’24 Hours of Peace’ community event in West Ward

The city of Newark is holding its “24 Hours of Peace” event in the city’s West Ward. It is one of Newark’s biggest events.
The goal is to promote peace and unity in the city and to show people that they can come out and have a good time while staying safe.
The event runs through 6 p.m. Saturday.
