Fans of the HBO drama ?The Sopranos? gathered at the popular filming location, the Bada Bing Club in Lodi, Sunday to watch the series finale.
The Bada Bing Club, like other filming locations, has become a hot spot for fans to drive by and take pictures. Tourists from near and far joined in Sunday night to officially say goodbye to the show, but many fans said they were not ready for it to end.
Since ?The Sopranos? began filming in New Jersey nearly 10 years ago, it has been a fan favorite.
Some Italian-Americans thought Hollywood was stereotyping New Jersey as a state with an abundance of mobsters, but most fans didn?t seem to mind.
New Jersey residents wanted in on the act. People offered their homes and businesses to get on the show. A casting call in 2000 drew 14,000 fans and shut down roads.
Years later many say New Jersey's family has been very good to the Garden State. ?The Sopranos? brought in a lot of money, and helped New Jersey to become a new filming hot spot.
