The American Red Cross New Jersey Region in Fairfield is sending one disaster worker in a Mission Response Vehicle (MRV) to assist with those being devastated by Hurricane Milton.
The volunteer will then drive south to the Red Cross Philadelphia location to pick up three other disaster workers and another MRV before they all depart for Tallahassee.
This is the second time in just two weeks that hundreds of American Red Cross disaster responders are working around the clock to provide shelter, comfort and support following Hurricane Helene in Georgia and North Carolina.
