Gorgeous weather is in store for the Garden State today with temperatures reaching 77 degrees.
News 12 New Jersey’s Lauren Due and Tony Caputo talked to New Jersey residents to see how they’re enjoying a taste of summer. Some New Jerseyans kicked off beach season early and headed to the shore.
“Well, it feels a lot better than the weeks we had. It was a terrible spring,” said Gene Herre, of Springfield.
“For the first beach day, like of the season, I'm super excited. It's just so nice and refreshing especially since winter is over,” said Rutgers student Noah Novera.
Berkeley Heights resident Mike Caprio says “my body doesn’t ache. My mind is clear. Weather means a lot. Mother Nature does that for us. Definitely.”
