New Jersey drivers looking to fill up their gas tanks may have found a pleasant surprise at some of the pumps Monday.
Gas prices have started to drop and in some parts of the Garden State, the prices have dropped to as low as $2.75 a gallon. In Woodbridge, the Raceway station on Route 1 was offering a gallon of regular unleaded for $2.77.
Some say the drop in gas prices may be due to the Middle East cease-fire. Others believe the lower prices are due to the lack of hurricanes this year. Many drivers say they don?t care about the reason for lower prices, as long as they continue to drop.
