New Brunswick police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for shooting someone in the arm.

The shooting happened on Joyce Kilmer Avenue just before 7 :30 a.m. on Thursday. Officials say it happened after a group of men were in an altercation that led to the shooting of a 28-year-old man. That victim is expected to be OK.

Rafael Liriano-Olivo, 31, was arrested and faces multiple charges, including attempted murder.
