There is a break in a case weeks after a body was found at a Livingston golf course.

Andres Calvachi-Paz, 35, is accused of killing his girlfriend and dumping her body at Cedar Hill Country Club.

Prosecutors say he admitted to strangling Dayana Chiasguano Maleza, 28, inside their Newark apartment.

She reportedly tried to end the relationship, prosecutors say.
