The MTA rolled out new improvements to its bus service in Co-op City today.
Back in 2010, MTA budget cuts left Co-op City residents with limited bus service on the Bx26 and Bx28.
After a five-month MTA study and years of pushing for better service, Co-op City residents can now take advantage of the new adjustments on the Bx23. The service is now just one fare throughout all of Co-op City with a bus running constantly.
Bx23 customers will also now have direct bus service between the Pelham Bay Park 6 station throughout Co-op City, and the Bx28 will be making a stop in the area to use the Asch Loop.
