Morris & Essex Line service to return to regular schedule Friday after overhead wire repairs

The Morris & Essex Line has been operating on a modified schedule for the last 10 days.

New Jersey Transit has announced that after 10 days of overhead wire repairs near Mount Tabor, service on the Morris and Essex Line will return to a regular weekday schedule. This will begin Friday morning.

Service Thursday evening will continue to operate on a modified schedule at both Mount Tabor and Morris Plains stations.

Rail tickets and bus passes are being honored by NJ Transit bus and Newark Light Rail.
