Police have accused a 52-year-old Morris Township woman of having a sexual affair with her son's 15-year-old friend.

Josette Taylor has been charged with sexual assault and child endangerment for an alleged five-month sexual relationship with the teen. Police say Taylor confessed to the affair and handwritten notes from the woman were found by the teen's parents.

The 15-year-old is said to have broken off the relationship before police were notified. Taylor's neighbors say they're surprised by the allegations.

Authorities say Taylor has been released on bail.
