A Middlesex County superintendent is under fire after approving a list of new substitute teachers that included her son, a state ethics commission found.
Monroe Township superintendent Chari Chanley signed off on a list that included over 150 substitute teachers. The ethics commission says Chanley should have recused herself from making a decision on her son.
In a statement, Chanley said she will continue to work diligently and ethically for her students in the Monroe Township schools.
