A Morris County school bus driver is facing charges for leaving a 4-year-old special needs student on a bus for more than two hours, according to police.

Police say the incident happened on July 10. They say that Frank Blair, of Hamburg, did not check the bus after parking in a bus yard in Montville.

Staff at the child’s school noticed that the student was missing and alerted the police.

A spokesperson for Montville Township Public Schools says that the driver worked for a bus contractor and was not employed by the district.
