Unfavorable weather for the Haskell Invitational Sunday wasn't helping Monmouth Park on its biggest day of the year.
The racetrack is fighting to stay open, but not getting help from the state.
A referendum for two North Jersey casinos is on the agenda for November. A Monmouth Park consultant says if it passes, it won't change much, but anything helps.
Some Haskell regulars are worried about the park's future. But as of right now, the tradition continues.
