The Democratic candidate for governor in New Jersey has selected Dale Caldwell as her lieutenant governor pick.
Caldwell is the president of Centenary University in Warren County and is pastor of Covenant United Methodist Church in Plainfield.
“Dr. Caldwell has spent his life in service — to his faith, to his students, and to the communities he’s helped strengthen with decades of leadership,” Sherrill said in her announcement.
Earlier this week, Republican nominee Jack Ciattarelli announced Jim Gannon as his running mate.
Gannon is the sheriff of Morris County.
