The West Hollywood City Council has voted to approve a proposal calling for President Donald Trump's star to be removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The city council plans to send a formal letter to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, the LA City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
There has been a massive push from Actor Mark Hamill, as well as "Star Wars" fans, to have Carrie Fisher take his place.
But the former actress is still years away from getting a star.
The Chamber of Commerce can only give out a star on the fifth anniversary of their passing, and with the written consent of their family members.
Only one deceased nominee can get approved each year.
