Authorities say a 24-year-old man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a neighbor in New Jersey.

NJ.com reports police were called to an apartment complex in Point Pleasant Beach shortly before noon on Wednesday. Authorities say Anthony Strong was found nearby in clothing that appeared to be stained by blood.

Authorities say 41-year-old Frank Campagna was found unresponsive on the floor of his Trenton Avenue apartment suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. A knife was near his body.

Strong was arrested and charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and other offenses. He remains jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail.
