(AP) - A northern New Jersey man has beencharged in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 23-year-old man.
Police arrested Edward Corcoran of Clifton on Friday afternoonand charged him with vehicular homicide, drunken driving andleaving the scene of an accident.
Corcoran was being held at Bergen County Jail in lieu of$100,000 cash bail.
Authorities say Jordan Pettway was struck and killed earlyFriday as he crossed an off-ramp where Interstate 80 exits inHackensack.
State Police say the Englewood resident was revived at the sceneby paramedics but died two hours later at Hackensack UniversityMedical Center.
Acting on an anonymous tip, police found Corcoran's car - agreen 2002 Saturn L200 - at his house.
