A man accused of killing his father, setting his house on fire and leading police on a days-long manhunt was charged by state police in Orange County.

Police say Thomas Ryan is facing murder, arson, grand larceny and other felony charges.

As News 12 previously reported, the 32-year-old was seen running from the Greenville home of his father, 70-year-old Robert Ryan, after what sounded like an explosion.

Ryan was caught days later and is in Orange County jail.

Police have not revealed what Robert Ryan's cause of death is yet.
