The Menlo Park Mall hosted a 'green' fair Sunday to showcase local businesses that are doing their part to help the environment.
The fair, which was organized in honor of Earth Day, was set up in the food court and featured representatives from the Green New Jersey Resource Team, as well as some environmentally friendly items.
Energy-efficient products, like light bulbs, were on sale at the fair at a reduced cost. Some shoppers stopped in for information, as well as savings.
"I bought six of the 60-watt light bulbs and hopefully I'll save more than 30 percent on my electricity bill," Chrystal Boyle, of East Orange, says.
