Lyndhurst coach arrested 2nd time for child sex assault

A speed and strength coach from Lyndhurst has been charged in a second case of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Donald Kumar Davis, of Lyndhurst, assaulted a child in Washington Township and in Wyckoff. He was arrested in December 2023 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated criminal sexual contact.

Davis, formerly of Nutley, was arrested a second time on Sunday in Hackensack. An ongoing investigation revealed a second victim which resulted in Davis being charged again.

He is being held at Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance in Hackensack.
