Seaside Heights is set to show the first drive-in movie in Ocean County in 30 years.
Crews have set up a screen in the parking lot as you enter town, just off of Route 35.
At dusk tonight, “Ferris Bueller's Day Off” will be playing.
There will be movies there, as well as on the beach throughout the summer.
"We’re encouraging the kids to come,” says Mayor Tony Vaz. “It's something that brings back good memories for me, but it's new for them; they'll know what a real drive-in was."
According to officials, there will also be room for chairs, as well as a special app for car radios to listen.
There will also be refreshments for purchase.
Movie night will be held every other Friday.
