The pastor and music director of Clinton Presbyterian Church took on the role of detective to solve a recent break-in during which a bass guitar and acoustic guitar were stolen.

Pastor Tim Harrison and Music Director Matt Bradley looked to the Internet to launch their own investigation, starting with eBay, where they thought the burglar may try to sell his loot. The search was a personal one for Bradley, who inherited the guitars from his grandfather.

The two say they found both instruments, along with some of the church?s microphones and guitar pedals, for sale by a user named ?GraveyardGreg666.? After contacting police, they looked up the seller?s eBay name to find that he is a Clifton resident named Gregory DeLuca.

Police arrested DeLuca and returned the stolen equipment to the church. He was charged with burglary and theft and is being held on $10,000 bail.
