Two lawsuits filed by Kean University students over tuition refunds have been dismissed.
The students sued because the school, like many others, went to virtual learning during the pandemic.
The state Appellate Court ruled Kean is immune under the state's Emergency Health Powers Act.
The court recently applied the ruling for a similar suit filed by a Montclair State student.
