A Long Island flight school is accused of ignoring warning signs before a 2023 plane crash in North Lindenhurst that left two people dead and a woman critically injured.

Reeva Gupta survived a fiery plane crash in North Lindenhurst in 2023. Her mother and the pilot were both killed. Anew lawsuit against Waizman Aviation Inc. claims the crash was "entirely preventable."

Two years ago, Reeva and her adventurous mother, Roma Gupta, were taking an introductory flight lesson out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale when something went terribly wrong.

The single-engine plane crashed next to the Long Island Rail Road tracks just off Wellwood Avenue.

The National Transportation Safety Board released a report that revealed there was a report of smoke in the cockpit of that plane less than two months before the fatal crash.
