A family whose apartment flooded in the fall got some help from the Kiwanis Club of Clark and a local congregation.
Samah Mekkway and her three kids lost everything including a wheelchair, crutches and braces used by her 13-year-old daughter to get around.
The Kiwanis Club got the word out and the Temple Beth O'r Beth Torah responded, raising almost $3,900 for the family.
They also got a turkey for Thanksgiving, a Christmas tree in December and a furniture donation.
