Kids across the Garden State are keeping an eye on the sky Thursday night amid a snowy forecast.
Lake Hopatcong and surrounding communities usually get lots of snow this time of year. However, there hasn?t been much of the white stuff so far, leaving many kids hoping for a snow day.
The snow began to fall Thursday afternoon. Meteorologists predict things will get messy overnight into Friday morning. However, they say the snow may turn into rain.
Some kids who were disappointed with the storm earlier in the week say they are still holding out hope for a snow day.
