The Tremont-Crotona Day Care Center closed Monday after a dozen students displayed symptoms of swine flu last week.
The city health department recommended the school shut down and disinfect the classrooms. Six students were then tested for the virus and all results came back negative.
Samples were taken from the school, which also came back clean. So far, there is only one swine flu zone in New York City.
According to health officials, all cases in New York have been mild, but they still are advising everyone to take precautions. The Tremont-Crotona Day Care Center is expected to reopen Tuesday.
