The family of missing 25-year-old Freehold woman Stephanie Parze is holding another search for her today.
Parze was last seen Oct. 30 following a family gathering.
Stephanie’s father, Ed Parze, continues to organize volunteer searches for any signs of her, with this one today at Durand Park in Freehold.
Volunteers began showing up at sunrise to search the expansive woods along Randolph Road. Around 150 volunteers are present.
Last week, there was a massive effort at the Tighe Park, where 200 volunteers came from as far away as Baltimore to look for Stephanie. Other searches took place over the weekend on Staten Island.
John Ozbilgen, 29, was a person of interest in the case, and was charged with child porn after it was found on his phone.
But according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, Ozbilgen, was found dead Friday in his Freehold home on Kings Mountain Road. Sources tell News 12 it appears he hanged himself overnight. Ed says his death changes nothing.
"We would not be able to do this,” says Ed. My family and I, when people come over the house keeping our minds off of it when you're alone at night I've been saying this all along. It's horrifying. As soon as somebody comes in the door whether it's media, you're still focused on it but you're able to pull yourself back up get your hope back again just seeing the amount of people here keeps your hope going."
More searches are scheduled right through Sunday in the region, and Ed says more than 500 people are already registered for the search on Friday.
If anyone has any information on the case, they can contact the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office at (732) 431-7160.
