The jury in the murder trial of Rashid Bynum found him guilty in the shooting death of Eunice Dwumfour, a Sayreville councilwoman.
The jury deliberated on Friday behind closed doors at the Middlesex County Courthouse. They returned to court to review testimony and home surveillance video that captured the shooting.

In that video, a car parked in a driveway can be seen filling up the frame. Dwumfour is parked in the road behind that car, and the 15 gunshots that are being fired at her can be heard. It then shows a glimpse of someone running away.
The prosecution described the death of Dwumfour as an execution.
The defense had said Bynum didn’t pull the trigger and had no motive to kill the woman, who was his former roommate.
