Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Isaac says the time has come to change the system of policing. The Democratic majority leader is proposing legislation that would demand all Yonkers police officers wear body cameras.
Body of lost kayaker found near Sandy HookThe body of a kayaker who went missing last week in the Navesink River has been found in Sandy Hook, according to officials. Police say that Nadem Aksov went missing Thursday night while fishing with a friend. His body was found on Monday. Aksov’s family has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for his funeral.
