? Opening arguments were delayed Tuesday for the two students charged in a fatal Seton Hall dorm fire that took place in January of 2000.
The jurors, two defendants and prosecution were set to begin, but the judge sent everyone home instead. The judge took time in the courtroom to give specific instructions to jurors both individually and as a group. Jurors were told to expect a large witness list and instructed not to discuss the case with anyone.
The defendants, Sean Ryan and Joseph LePore, are accused of starting the fire that killed three people in the dorm. Both face serious charges that include murder and arson. If convicted, the two could face up to 30 years in prison.
