Volunteers set out to pack as many meals as they could in 24 hours. The group called it their “Pack-a-Thon.”
A few dozen volunteers packed meals nonstop for 24 hours straight at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s Hillside warehouse.
The group started at sunrise and went through the wee hours of the next morning.
They packed nearly 166,000 meals for the cause.
