Felician University’s nursing school held its winter graduation. There were 65 new nurses on stage.
They are now heading to hospitals all over New Jersey – and they are much-needed. There was a nursing shortage before 2020 and it was only made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The largest nurses union in the state estimates that about one-third of nurses in New Jersey left their jobs in the last three years.
These new nurses are here to help – and make New Jersey proud.
