The bald eagle was removed from New Jersey’s list of endangered species last month. From one nesting pair of eagles 50 years ago, New Jersey is now closing in on 300.
This is the time of year when eggs hatch. Tuesday morning, the first of three eggs in a nest at Duke Farms hatched. This is a rare nest with three eggs, and the others should hatch fairly quickly.
The hatching was all captured on Duke Farm’s “Eagle Cam.”
