A man was killed after a motorcycle crash late Friday in Morris County, investigators say.

The incident happened on Route 80 in Wharton.

Officers say John Nicholson, 31, ran off the side of the road and hit a guardrail, throwing him off the bike.

He died at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
