(AP) - Investigators say their search of aLakewood house where a drug raid shootout left four police officersinjured has turned up a large enough quantity of suspected cocaineand marijuana to indicate that it was meant for distribution.
Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor'sOffice said Saturday that the drug search was still in its earlystages.
Earlier Saturday, investigators completed a forensic searchaimed at reconstructing the gun fight Thursday morning between aresident of the house and officers who broke down the door.
All the officers are expected to recover. The shooting suspectremains hospitalized with gunshot wounds. A second resident of thehouse is in police custody.
