A superintendent from Idaho is speaking out after photos of teachers and staff dressed up as the border wall and Mexicans went viral.
The photos of the 13 staff members went viral last week.
"Our district office has gotten a lot of phone calls from parents and patrons, a lot of emails expressing their concern, and certainly it's something,” says Superintendent Josh Middleton. “Once this review is done, we'll need to look and see what sort of training that might be appropriate."
Middleton says the costumes came from a weeklong team building activity, which was meant to promote kindness and respect.
The district is expected to hold a special meeting Saturday morning.
