A New Jersey photographer captured some rare images over the weekend while out with his family.
Photographer was on a fishing expedition near Sandy Hook when he spotted a humpback whale.
Struck says that a puff of air and spray of mist came out of nowhere and then he saw the whale. Luckily, he was near his camera and was able to take several photos of the great animal.
The whale supposedly breached the water several times while snacking on a school of fish.
