Today will feature mostly pleasant conditions, though not without a few changes. Expect increasing cloud cover throughout the day as a late-night storm system approaches. Winds will also pick up, with gusts reaching 20–30 mph. Rain and thunderstorms along with gusty winds are likely between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. early on Monday. In any thunderstorm there may be stronger winds and ponding on roadways, extra time may be needed for the morning commute for some. Looking ahead, the week ahead brings several chances for scattered showers. The most notable window appears to be Tuesday night into early Wednesday, when another round of rain may move through.
