Hoboken residents are being told to be on alert Saturday after six car break-ins have occurred in the past three days.
Police say expensive gadgets like GPS devices that are easy to spot are tempting the thieves.
Jesus Santiago lives on the street where two of the cars were broken into Tuesday. He says it?s nothing new but knows to take his GPS device out of his car every night.
The other two incidents happened on Clinton Street Thursday. Police say the crooks got away with a wallet and an iPod.
Police have made no arrests. They are telling residents to lock their cars and keep their electronics out of sight.
