The playground at Southwest Resiliency Park will close for about 24 hours beginning at 3 p.m. Monday for repairs, officials said.
The temporary closure is needed to complete a minor repair to the safety surfacing material at the base of the playground’s climbing tower.
Officials said the material requires about 24 hours to cure properly. The rest of the park will remain open during the repairs.
The playground is expected to reopen by 3 p.m. Tuesday following the completion of the curing process.
