Heavy snow caused part of a Newark church that was under repair to collapse.
The pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church tells News 12 New Jersey that repairs were being made to the wall of the sanctuary, and that the heavy snow from Monday’s nor’easter caused part of the building to collapse.
The pastor says that the property next door was also damaged.
No injuries were reported.
Parts of New Jersey saw more than 2 feet of snow during the storm.
